I think in the past the church has been more caught up in the "doing" of church rather then the "being" of church. I think once we come to understand who we are as the church, we'll be doing the right things naturally. (ie. taking care of the poor, loving each other, wanting to give of ourselves and not just consume).
Instead we've often started with the "list" of things we should be doing, or not doing, and that limits the possibilites of what the church is capable of accomplishing.
I'm a former youth pastor trying to become a marketplace missionary. I'm married to a wonderful woman named Wanda and have been for 11+ years. We have recently adopted a beautiful girl whom we named Annalise.

Doing just isn't soing it for me any more. I want to be the church. It sounds so cocky but I am the church.
