Wet

It's very wet today. Hmmm, it was very wet last week this time as well.

The rain does some really good things, don't get me wrong. It gives our city a really good cleaning when it needs it. It also helps get rid of the dried pee smell that permeates downtown when it's dry for too long.

What I DON'T like is I can't walk around downtown as much, which is my favorite thing about living down here.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend wherever you are.

hey paul. and wanda. hope your trip was fun. can't wait to see you tomorrow!! sheldon will call for details.

listen to this - shel said the other day, i really missed this rain! i asked him if he was crazy? he said he wasn't, he just LIKES this heavy rain compared to england's light persistent drizzles! i do not get my husband at all. (only when it comes to rain issues and a few other topics. otherwise, we are ok. just wanted to make things clear so you don't worry about us.)

right. me, i am really not a fan of the rain. it annoys me actually. i want to walk around downtown with you guys. but if it's like this, i just don't know. do you know any good coffee shop? that's a joke. so see you soon. anna

I love the rain. i feel so good getting wet. I can actually breathe walking to the bus without hacking up flem - or worse. If only the rain was evenly distributed throughout the year.

Days, or should I say months, like these make me miss my days in Toronto.

Newfie Boat For Sale

Shamus was going for his morning walk one day when he walked past Mick's house and saw a sign that said “Boat For Sale.”

This confused Shamus because he knew that Mick didn't own a boat, so he finally decided to go in and ask Mick about it.

“Hey Mick,” said Shamus, “I noticed da sign in your yard dat says 'Boat For Sale' but ya don't even have a boat. All ya have is your old John Deere tractor and combine.”

“Mick replied, "Yup, and they're boat for sale, eh.”
