Dang

My FINAL Oiler Poem Of The Season

It makes me very sad
I'm not so very happy
The 'Canes have won the Cup
But I won't get sappy

My Oiler poetry
Will now be put to bed
Untill next winter when
It will come to my head

Yay! No more hocky poetry!!

Err.... I mean. Sorry for your loss?

I do admit to feeling a little sad when I heard that Carolina scored that 3rd goal. There was no hope then. No. Hope.

Sorry.

I too must admit will miss the words
that are in poem fashion.

I was sooo choked. It's good to put those poetry skills to rest though...you know...they need a break...not us, the poetry

Being the good sport that I am, the Oilers put up a great fight! Alas, I do have to gloat just a bit too. :) WE WON!! Ok, now I'm done :)

Thanks for being such a great sport! The news here did say that some of Carolina's players lived near or in Edmonton. I only live an hour and a half away from the RBC Center so maybe one day I'll trek up there and take a peek. I bet it's more beautiful in person, you lucky man. Hopefully this won't be Carolina's first and only time they win ;) but we can share? You have it one season and we can take it back the next? What do ya say? LOL

ha ha, I like you posts!! Too bad I was flying back from Alaska during game 7, so I missed all the excitement.

I was a little disappointed when I got back, but I do like Cam Ward as my goalie play is simlar to his - Unbeatable on the one-timer, but weak on the direct stick side shot(I am much better though - wink, wink...I wish).
