Adoption Update Hawaii 2.4 - The Name
So we're honestly struggling with naming her. Nothing really grabs us. so I'm appealing to my readers. Give us your best names. No silly stuff but girl names that you love that aren't YOUR children's names.

Karinya - The girl's name Karinya \k(a)-rin-ya, kar(i)-nya\ is of Australian origin, and its meaning is "peaceful home". Of aboriginal origin.

This is the name that we always wanted for our daughter, but of course, never had a daughter.... Brooklyn. We love that name. The name means stream or waterfall which always makes me think of the gentleness of a stream and the power of a waterfall.

I'm so impressed with the list of names everyone has given you. I'm afraid Mark and I aren't much help. During both of my pregnancies we found it very easy to come up with boy names and struggled with the girl names. You'll know it when you see it. Can't wait to hear what you chose!
